So, I’m going to officially stop making posts. I love this blog, I love these characters, I fucking love you guys. I love you guys. But the muse isn’t singing for me, and my personal art has been suffering because of my guilt over not posting. I know how annoying it is when someone just stops doing something and never says that they’re done or why they quit, so I’m just telling you now:

I’m not going to be making more askpoison posts, and it’s just because I think my run here is through.

I will probably put the occasional fanart up here, just because it’s a good place to put that jank! If any of you want, my personal tumblr is here at tennyboo.tumblr. I also know that there are a lot of really awesome questions in my askbox that I didn’t get to answer. You guys were fucking generous. And there was a lot of the universe in my head that I didn’t get to elaborate on, AND GOD KNOWS I LOVE TALKING! So basically, I might take a bunch of the questions and make some videos talking about them. And by might, I mean “it would be v difficult to stop me.” So if you have any pressing questions, feel free to drop them in the inbox, and I’ll see what I can do. I also take headcanon questions when I do TMI Tuesdays, so there’s that.

Guys, I’ve gotten a lot of happiness from this. I hope that you enjoyed it half as much as I did. I hope anyone that stumbles on this in the future gets at least a smile.

HEY CHILDREN.

So just wanted to throw a heads-up that I’m still alive and kicking! Man, I had a good two week stretch of productive last month, didn’t I? GOD it was beautiful! My hope is to kick back into gear starting this Sunday. I’m writing it here so that you guys can yell at me if I miss it: update every other day OR three (3) times a week. Hold me to it!

Another small thing I wanted to address is Free Comic Book Day is coming!! If you don’t know what this is, here’s a short summary: every first Saturday of May, comic shops around the nation distribute comics—FOR FREE. It’s not all comics, no, but the publishers send scads of special issues that readers can just walk in and grab for free. Usually there is some kind of pins/posters/little toys for early arrivals too. It’s pretty fucking awesome! This year, it’s May 5, which gives you a little over two weeks to pull your shit together and organize a trip! Maybe pick something up for ACTUAL MONEY while you’re there, like the new Batman series, which is fucking AMAZING.

As a comicshop clerk, I have a pretty vested interest in local shops getting publicity, so I’m personally entreating you guys to google your nearest shop and hit this event up. It’s seriously fun. Come on—free fucking comics. THAT’S AWESOME. My recommendations this year go to DC’s The New 52, Drawn & Quaterly’s Moomin Color Special, Red 5’s Atomic Robo (FUCKING AWESOME), and Archaia’s hardcover sampler that features shorts of Mouse Guard, Labyrinth, Return of the Dapper Men—lots of cool stuff. GET ON IT, GUYS.

I’ll be posting another note about this in a week and one more before May 5, so put it on your calendar!
